A visit to our café, which is designed in an old Viennese style, is always well worthwhile. With old Austrian cuisine, fine pastries and freshly baked pastries, we indulge our guests in a traditional manner. Special emphasis is placed upon the use of local produce from our own farm and food we hunt ourselves, as well as produce from the region. We are happy to take table reservations. Our clientele is wide and varied - business people, politicians, students, officials, artists, of both sexes - regular guests and tourists take a seat in a stylish ambience and everyone finds what they are looking for - relaxation over a cup of coffee, delicious treats and some interesting reading material from our extensive range of 65 of the latest international newspapers and magazines. Whether for minutes or for hours, the Cafe Central is a setting to feel really great in.

The coffee house was established in 1877 and is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. From October to April an atmospheric piano evening takes place every Sunday. In the summer months our popular terraces are also available. The Café Central is not just a meeting area for a wide and varied clientele, the rooms in the adjoining 4-star hotel are also very well suited for all kinds of celebrations. From a small-scale family party to bigger company events, the extensive café and its additional halls and rooms has plenty of space for 5 – 50 people, for all kinds of meetings.
