Shopping or just browsing. Enjoy the city and meet friends. A city centre which has evolved, contemporary shops and city style – the down town area in Innsbruck is a special open-air shopping domain.

Opposite the Hotel Central is the new Kaufhaus Tyrol, featuring architecture by David Chipperfield. Just a few minutes' walk away is Sillpark shopping centre. To the west of the city is Cyta shopping centre and in the east is the biggest shopping centre in west Austria - the DEZ shopping centre. Both shopping centres are located next to motorway exits and are also conveniently accessible from the Hotel Central on public transport. World-famous and known by everyone - the Swarovski company - which relocated the biggest Swarovski Shop in the world to Innsbruck in August 2011. Other boutiques and shops line Innsbruck's boulevards, Maria-Theresien-Strassen-Strasse and Museumsstrasse which run parallel. Both streets are located close to the Hotel Central.
